Ego collapse staged as bravado. The speaker performs excess—sexual, social, linguistic—while admitting loneliness, repetition, and depletion. Pride is both armor and noose; clout substitutes for connection, then fails under scarcity. Humor and wordplay mask vulnerability until the admission lands: the system built to survive drought cannot tolerate it. Emotional vector: swagger → confession → exposure → clarity through failure.
